If you have been playing paintball for a while, you probably know that there are more than one paintball guns, and not only there are hundreds if not thousands of them in the market, but with different features, for different purposes, or at different price ranges.
So the biggest question remains : what is the best paintball gun? To be honest, I don’t think there is the “ultimate” machine out there. There are pretty good ones, of course, outstanding ones, yes, but what defines what is the best paintball gun definitely lies on what you are looking for. You need to find what machine will give you the most optimal performance, regarding your comfort, the ease to use and even the type of paintballer or player you are.

So what are your aspirations? Are you a newbie or are you purchasing a new pain ball gun for recreational purposes, the bi-yearly times you play paintball with your friends? In this case, there is no doubt that purchasing a 1000 to 2000 dollars machine would be madness. On the other hand, if you are a regular player who take paintball to a new level, or are participating in tournaments and are involved with competitive teams, you may want to look into more sophisticated tools, packed with features and precision.
The size is a determinant factor a new paintball gun. Yes a machine with an enormous hopper will allow you to shoot longer, but remember that if you are only playing 10 to 15 minutes at the time, the enormous hopper becomes an unnecessary heavy and bulky tool.
Other things to consider is the model of the machine. If you have already bought for hundreds of dollars in bullets and other equipment that are still sitting in your basement, you may want to look into a model that is compatible with your leftover supply.
When choosing your new paintball tool, comfort is an important part, and look for things such as how heavy they are, are they easy to carry them around, how easy it is to load and to fire. Obviously, performance is the most important part of your selection process. Therefore, assess their durability, their accuracy and the overall ease to use.
The ease of use, the comfort and maintenance of a paintball gun will vary in function of the models and the manufacturer of the gadget. Because there are dozens of reputable manufacturers, there are hundreds of models out there. It can be a good idea to try out some of your pals paintball guns. Hold them, pretend you were going to use them for a game, how comfortable are you with them. There are many good paintball guns out there, and the best one for you really comes down to your personal preference and comfort.
