The difference between a single player game and a multiplayer game is the number of players that get to play the game. In a multiplayer game, several players can simultaneously play together. They can either compete against each other, form teams and compete against each team or play as a single team against the computer or an AI.
The widespread adoption of the Internet has allowed multiplayer games to flourish and we now found hundreds, if not thousands of them. Here’s the top 10 multiplayer games of 2010. So we created a poll to determine what multiplayer games our readers like the most. Overall, a good game must have a balanced play, have replayability (or in other words, be somewhat addictive) and to constantly create new challenges.
So after one month and hundreds and hundreds of responses, needless to say that we receive many names, but some of the games were more recurrent. So this is our readers’ top 10 multiplayer games of all times.

No wonder why this action-filled, fast-paced, strategic game still draw people 12 years after its release! Named Greatest Game of All Time by GameSpot, fans are now impatiently waiting for the sequel, due for release on July 27th of 2010! And, keep it a secret, but based on the beta we had access to, Starcraft II is definitely the next gen in the multiplayer game.
