Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar

Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar, ebony gold

Last year, for the big 30, I decided to treat myself to something big. While my buddies were talking about going down south for the day, I decided to treat myself to something I’ve wanted all my life… A shockingly expensive gorgeous guitar, the Gibson Les Paul Studio. I have owned a great Ephiphone model for several years, and I had a hard time believing anything could sound better… 10 minutes in and I realized how wrong was I for all these years! Beautiful guitar, great finish and amazing sound. This purchase is definitely worth every penny I’ve put into it. I would definitely purchase again!

Epiphone LP black beauty 3 les paul collection electric guitar

Epiphone LP Black Beauty 3 Les Paul Collection, ebony

I have own many electric guitars in my life, and the Epiphone is by far the best guitar I’ve owned. This guitar literally puts to shave all the Gibsons and Fenders I’ve ever owned. This model is the most affordable option for an Epiphone. Of course, for 700$, this is not exactly a beginner’s guitar. But if you intend on using your guitar for many years to come, this is a great investment. I myself plan to get buried with the guitar haha. This guitar not only sounds great, but also looks amazing. As a matter of fact, everything in this guitar shines with quality and the guitar stays in tune even after a big beating. Don’t spend money on cheaper guitar that you will trade, anyway, for more expensive ones in the future (don’t think you are immune to this, you know you will)!

Schecter C-1 FR electric guitar

Schecter C-1 FR Electric Guitar, mahogany

Review by Ty Sean
I have to admit that I have started play guitar only 4 years ago, and this is the second guitar I’ve purchased. I have been thinking of upgrading my guitar for over a year now and I have been shopping, comparing guitars and specs. A few months ago, I made up my mind on this one. I was immediately seduced by the classic look of the guitar. This guitar, by far, outshine my previous one (a 200$ Fender I purchased when started learning). I just love the extra frets and the low/high E string buzzing. Excellent price, organic sound, I highly recommend the Schecter C-1 FR.

Dean V 79 Electric Guitar

Dean V 79 Electric Guitar, Classic Black, mahogany

Talk about a sick looking guitar! This guitar is actually built to the original specs of the 1979 Deans. I have to admit that I bought this one entirely based on the look. The reviews were good, but I wasn’t expecting anything special out of it. What a pleasant surprise to find out that this guitar is actually quite light and the sustain is good. This is a fun electric guitar to play and probably one of the best value guitar I have found so far!

Epiphone LP Standard Les Paul Collection Electric Guitar

Epiphone LP Standard Les Paul Collection, ebony

By MMD, reviewer for Consumer Top 10
If you don’t have 2000$ to spare on a Gibson, the Epiphone is an excellent alternative. This guitar is truly beautiful and the picture we find on the web sure doesn’t give justice to the real beauty of the guitar. For the price, this guitar gives an astonishing good quality pickup. This is a great durable intermediate guitar that can take quite a beating! If Gibson sounds like the sounds of the angels, this Epiphone is probably what angels sound like when they are rehearsing! So why sacrifice sound for a cheaper model when you can get all you need in this model for a few more bucks!

BC Rich Warlock Metal Master Blade Electric Guitar

B.C. Rich Warlock Metal Master Blade

By Joel604
I am a very casual beginner electric guitar player, so there was no point for me to get the high end guitar. I basically jam in the garage with a fairly crappy amp on my spare time. I wanted something stylish I could practice on and which would give me that “guitar hero” feeling. This B.C. Rich Warlock sure does the job great! It’s a pretty good looking, light and solid guitar. Just give you that blast when you jam some metal in the garage. A great deal for you money and for the eyes!

Traveler Guitar Speedster Electric Travel Guitar

Traveler Guitar Speedster

By MMD, reviewer for Consumer Top 10

The traveler’s guitar. My work as a rep requires me to travel a lot for work. So I am on the road nearly half the month, going to different cities and towns. I love to just sit in my pickup after a few hours of drive to reinvigorate myself by playing some notes. So I did a lot of research and found this sleek guitar. The thing that really attracted me was the full sized fret board, something you don’t always find on smaller guitars. This incredibly small unit is a perfect travel guitar I highly recommend. With my work, I have to admit that it even gets more used than the Gibson!

Agile AL-2000 Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst Flame

Agile AL-2000 Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst Flame

By MMD, reviewer for Consumer Top 10

This is a great value guitar, from beginner to high level intermediates. There is no point in purchasing a 2000$ guitar if you are a very casual player or a total beginner. I personally keep my Gibson for special occasions and practice on cheaper electric guitars. The guitar is not perfect per say. For example, you may want to change the strings for higher quality ones, but overall, for its price, you simply have nothing to lose.

Epiphone SG Special Electric Guitar

Epiphone SG Special Electric Guitar, ebony

By MMD, reviewer for Consumer Top 10

The Epiphone SG Special Electric Guitar is the perfect beginner’s guitar. I saw it at a store and I was quite impressed by the quality price of the guitar. Based on my recommendation, my brother purchased it for my nephew’s birthday a few months ago. This guitar nails all sort of sounds, from metal to blues and hard rock. My nephew loves it and has brought it over to play with me a couples of time. Nice guitar to for new jammers!

Daisy Rock - Rock Candy Custom Special Guitar

Daisy Rock – Rock Candy Custom Special Guitar, Dark Star

By MMD, reviewer for Consumer Top 10

Ladies, I did not forget about you. I have to give an honourable mention to the Daisy Rock, for ladies of course! This guitar features a thin, light, contoured mahogany body with a 22-fret, 24 ¾ scale set-in, slim profile, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and star inlays (ooff!). This guitar was actually the Editor’s Pick in Guitar Player Magazine. This guitar is used by a friend of mine who is a guitar instructor. She really wants to inspire for girls to pick up the guitar and learn to play. Needless to say that this guitar makes every girl dream of becoming the next Dixie Chicks. A high quality guitar, maybe not for me, but that female friends and coworkers love!
